New LAND OF THE LOST trailer
Here’s the third Land of the Lost trailer. The film starring Will Ferrell, Jorma Taccone, Anna Friel and Danny McBride tells the story of Dr. Rick Marshall (Ferrell) who is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant (Friel) and a redneck survivalist (McBride). In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka (Taccone), their only ally in a world full of dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures. Can they all make it back to our world alive, and if so: Will Dr. Marshall can go from zero to hero with his discoveries?
It’s set to open on 5th June.
Conan sets first guests for TONIGHT SHOW
Conan O’Brien has set the guests for his first show as host of the Tonight Show on 1st June.
Will Ferrell will be on the show to no doubt pimp out Land of the Lost. The musical guest will be Pearl Jam who are expected to play something from their upcoming album.
I can’t wait until Conan is back on the airwaves. It’s been far too long without his manic presence gracing late night TV. Plus Andy Richter too, yay.
WILL FERRELL – a great SNL host
Will Ferrell was always one of my favourite SNL cast members, and since he left the show he’s been right near the top of the list of my favourite actors too. This weekend he hosted the season finale of SNL and reprised some of the great characters he did when he was a cast member.
Below are segments for Jeopardy with Ferrell once again playing Alex Trebek, Darrell Hammond as Sean Connery and an hilarious cameo from Tom Hanks, and in the second clip Ferrell portrays deceased baseball announcer Harry Caray on Weekend Update.
