Well this is a little more like it. The first trailer for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps had far too much Shia and not enough Gecko. This international trailer fixes that to a good degree plus we get to see Carey Mulligan too. I’m still not completely sold on the film, but Michael Douglas and Josh Brolin are enough to convince me to give it a shot.
The Rolling Stones also make a rather prominent appearance on the soundtrack. That must have bumped up the production cost at least a few million dollars.
God damn it, I can’t believe I’m late on poster a trailer as awesome as this one for The Losers.
Everyone and everything about this film looks crazy cool. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba and Zoe Saldana were enough to make me see this, but add in some impressive looking performances from Chris Evans and Jason Patric and it looks all the better.
The film’s due for release on 9th April in the US. No word on when I can expect it here in Oz.
Here’s the trailer for the insanely awesome looking Red Riding.
Red Riding is a trilogy of feature length films adapted from four book written by David Peace (each one dealing with a specific year) concerning the events surrounding the Yorkshire Ripper murders in England during the 1970s. The three films originally aired on Channel 4 in England back in March and are set to open theatrically in the US in February. I assume each one will be shown separately instead of having all three back to back as this would be a very long viewing experience.
The whole trilogy can already be purchased on DVD from Amazon UK right here.
I’m really not a fan of Jude Law at all but even his presence isn’t enough to stop my interest in the cool, bloody, action sci-fi flick Repo Men.
In the futuristic action-thriller Repo Men, humans have extended and improved our lives through highly sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs created by a company called The Union. The dark side of these medical breakthroughs is that if you don’t pay your bill, The Union sends its highly skilled repo men to take back its property…with no concern for your comfort or survival.
I’ve liked Liev Schreiber ever since he played Cotton Weary in the Scream trilogy and I loved Carice van Houten in Zwartboek (one of my absolute favourite films of all time), so their inclusion significantly raises my interest. Hopefully the final product won’t suck.
My love of Steve Buscemi and Sarah Silverman knows no bounds so it’s understandable why I was excited about Saint John of Las Vegas. Now that the trailer’s out my excitement has grown exponentially. This flick looks cooler than I ever thought possible.
I just found this trailer for Lovers in a Dangerous Time on Youtube and was blown away by it. It looks to be a beautiful story of childhood, growing up and finding love. Those are all themes that I think everyone can relate to.
According to IMDB it’s only played at two film festivals so far. The Okanagan International Film Festival in Canada in April and the Tallgrass Film Festival in the US in October. I really hope that I get a chance to see this at some point. I was really impressed by what I saw in the trailer.
Check out the trailer below and head on over to the official site here.
I’ve been hanging for a while to see something from Grown Ups and now we have the new trailer.
Would you look at all those SNL guys back together. This is a must see for me even if it turns out to be pretty average. I love the 90’s SNL guys so having them all together along with Salma Hayek and Maria Bello should be great.
Well this not what I expected at all. I’ve been looking forward to seeing something from Tina Fey and Steve Carell’s Date Night for a while now but I figured it’d just be a funny almost R rated comedy. The trailer makes it seem like a romcom combined with Mr and Mrs Smith. I’m still excited about it but in a whole different way.
I also loved the little bit of James Franco and Mila Kunis that was shown. God I love those two.
I’ve only read the first three issues of Kick-Ass but when I heard a while back that they were doing a movie I had a real hard time believing that it would be as brutal and violent as the comic. I still don’t know if it will be but the teaser fills me with anticipation for the flick. Especially the adorable Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl.
