I remember when I first saw Pulp Fiction way back in 1995 when I was about 16 years old, before I could of even called myself a casual film fan, and distinctly recall being quite confused by the structure of the film.  Quentin Tarantino’s classic was unusual for the time because it jumped around between stories, characters and timelines, with the result that someone could die in one scene only to reappear in another scene just a few minutes later.  My young mind found this difficult to grasp.

Thankfully nowadays we have dedicated and talented movie fans like Noah Smith who devote their time to making infographics to help viewers process how Pulp Fiction would play in chronological order.

18.) Robin Hood
19.) Amer
20.) Jackass 3D

I haven’t seen 4,5,6,8,9, 10,14,15,16,18, 19 or 20, but after reading about them I’m fairly sure most of them deserve to be on a Top 20 list.  I have seen Knight and Day and How To Train Your Dragon though, and neither of them should be anywhere near a Top 20 list.  Are you fucking kidding me?  I’m pretty sure Robin Hood is a stinking piece of shit too, for no other reason than my mother watched it thought it was crap, and she likes everything.  Everything.

I’m kinda surprised that Somewhere didn’t make it onto Tarantino’s list after winning the Golden Lion at Venice and the minor controversy Tarantino’s involvement in awarding it caused.  Not to mention that it’s actually a good film too.

Here’s yet another Inglourious Basterds poster.

I’m all for promoting a film but you’d think that anyone interested in seeing this one is already well aware of it.  How much increased attendance do you think another poster will generate?  I’d say the money spent on all these variants would have been better kept in the bank account of The Weinstein Company considering their financial woes.

Yet another INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS poster HollywoodHubbub

Here are four new character posters for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming revisionist war movie Inglourious Basterds.  The posters depict Lt. Aldo Raine, Colonel Landa, Shosanna Dreyfus, and Bridget von Hammersmark.

The film is set to open on 21st August.

Finally the full trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds has been released.

I was a little underwhelmed by the script when I read it, but I have the utmost faith that Tarantino will deliver another amazing film.  He hasn’t let me down yet so there’s no reason to think he’ll start now.

INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS full trailer HollywoodHubbub

Here’s the new international poster for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming action war flick Inglourious Basterds.  The character posters were cool and all, but this one really pops if you ask me.

I’m hopeful that the Weinstein company won’t screw around with the film as a way to get their poor finances in order.  But considering what they did to Grindhouse I’m more than a little concerned.
