The pilot wasn’t that great, and they’re marketing it as “from the executive producer of Sex and the City“, and the blond chick isn’t too good, but Kat Dennings is awesome. Ergo, I’ll continue to watch 2 Broke Girls.
Plus you can probably rest assured that it’ll stick around because it’ll get decent ratings thanks to the Two and a Half Men lead-in.
Ah Kat Dennings, how smoking hot is she?
Here’s the first poster for the upcoming indie drama(?) Daydream Nation starring the abovementioned Dennings. IMDB says:
Tells the story of a city girl who moves to a small town and becomes entangled in a love triangle between her high school teacher and a stoner classmate.
It’s out May 6th.
Woody Harrelson is awesome in just about everything he does and I have a crush on Kat Dennings which borders on disturbing, so it should be no surprise that Defendor really really appeals to me.
The film tells the story of three characters: an everyday guy who comes to believe he’s a superhero, his psychiatrist, and the teenager he befriends.
It’s set to open on September 12th at the Toronto Film Festival.
Here’s the first poster for The Answer Man (aka Arlen Faber) which stars Jeff Daniels, Lauren Graham, Lou Taylor Pucci, Kat Dennings, and Olivia Thirlby. The film tells the story of a reclusive author of spiritual books who is pursued for advice by a single mother and a man fresh out of rehab.
My only interest in this film comes from the involvement of Kat Dennings. I loved her in Nick and Norah, Charlie Bartlett, and The 40 Year Old Virgin, and would pretty much watch anything that she’s in.
The film has already played at Sundance and the Seattle International Film Festival and is set for limited release on 24th July.
