Kirk Acevedo
Man I’m pissed off about this. It looks like Kirk Acevedo (Agent Charlie Francis) from Fringe has been fired. What can the reasoning for this possibly be? He was great on the show and worked well with Olivia. Ahhhh, I’m just so annoyed.
This is apparently what appeared on his Facebook page:
“WELL BOYS AND GIRLS THEY DONE DID YER BOY WRONG! THEY FIRED ME OFF OF FRINGE, AND IVE NEVER BEEN FIRED IN MY LIFE!!!!”
Angels & Demons barely took out the number one spot at the box office this weekend, edging out the JJ Abrams re-boot of Star Trek by only $5 million. Star Treks haul was 42% off it’s opening weekend, but it has already managed to bring in $147 million. The terrible X Men Origins: Wolverine managed to hold onto third place with a shade under $15 million.

Who's the leader?
Only next weeks double episode to go, and then no more Lost until January 2010. That’s a hell of a wait, so these remaining 3 hours had better be good.
With that in mind, I hate to say it, but I’m actually disappointed after an episode of Lost. That’s not to say that this episode was particularly bad, just not what I expected it to be.
I just got back from seeing STAR TREK and I loved it. Now, I’m no Trekkie, or Trekker, or whatever is politically correct to call diehard Trek fans, but I have seen some of the previous films, and in my mind the new reboot blows them all away. Each of the new actors playing the central roles fits perfectly, but I thought that Chris Pine as Kirk and Simon Pegg as Scotty were the two main standouts.
I went into the film knowing next to nothing about the plot, so I’m not going to give too much away here in case anyone’s actually reading my blog, but I will highlight some of my personal pros and cons of the film.
