OMG.  Justin Theroux, one of my absolute favourite actors/writers/producers, is set to join Parks and Recreation, the best comedy on TV right now, as a major recurring character.

Theroux was the only good thing about Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, and was fantastic in Mulholland Drive too.  Not to mention that he wrote Tropic Thunder and the upcoming Iron Man 2.  I’m so damn excited about this.  The only downer about the whole thing is that he’s slated to be a love interest for Leslie (Amy Poehler) which means that Louis C.K. won’t be around much longer.

Hell yes. Justin Theroux set to join PARKS & RECREATION HollywoodHubbub

Some insanely cool casting news for two very exciting projects.

Firstly, Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson are in talks to star in The Beaver with Foster also lined up to direct.  The film tells the story of a grown man who wears a beaver puppet on his hand that he treats as a real person.

Secondly, the enchanting actress Zooey Deschanel who can be seen in the upcoming 500 Days of Summer has signed on to star opposite James Franco, Danny McBride and Natalie Portman in the comedy Your Highness.  The film tells the story of a lazy prince (McBride) who must complete a quest to save his father’s kingdom.  Joining him on the quest is his more heroic brother (James Franco). Deschanel will play Belladonna, Franco’s virginal bride.  Natalie Portman plays McBride’s love interest, a warrior princess.

Kirk Acevedo

Man I’m pissed off about this.  It looks like Kirk Acevedo (Agent Charlie Francis) from Fringe has been fired.  What can the reasoning for this possibly be?  He was great on the show and worked well with Olivia.  Ahhhh, I’m just so annoyed.

This is apparently what appeared on his Facebook page:
“WELL BOYS AND GIRLS THEY DONE DID YER BOY WRONG! THEY FIRED ME OFF OF FRINGE, AND IVE NEVER BEEN FIRED IN MY LIFE!!!!”
