365 Day Unseen Movie Marathon – Day 20 – MURDER BY DEATH (1976)

Jan 20 2011 Published by under Film

Title: Murder By Death

Directed by: Robert Moore

Written by: Neil Simon

Current Flickchart position:  #1316 of 1335 overall.  My #3 film, of 3, from the year 1976.

What It’s About:
Five famous literary detective characters and their sidekicks are invited to a bizarre mansion to solve an even stranger mystery.

General Comments:
Painfully unfunny, horrendously dated, and overtly racist.  I made it about 20 minutes into the film before I figured it wasn’t worth my pain and discomfort to continue watching.

Watch this film to make you feel like killing yourself.

Rating:  4/10

Maybe the best "review" so far but it's a shame I had to watch the worst film so far to do it.

If you say so. But I'm not gonna suffer through it to see if you're right.
