Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk, two of my favourite TV actors, are set to star together in an indie-horror flick titled Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.
Labine was recently a cast member in Reaper and can be seen in Sons of Tucson (pilot script review here) when it starts in the fall. Tudyk is probably best known for playing Wash in Joss Whedon’s criminally mistreated Firefly and for his great turn as Alpha during the tail end of the first season of Dollhouse.
In the film, Labine stars as Dale alongside Tudyk as Tucker, two good-natured hillbillies mistakenly accused of being psycho killers by a group of college kids camping at the same lake where the hillbillies have just acquired a dilapidated cabin as their “summer home.” Katrina Bowen from 30 Rock is also set to star.
