I’ve said it before, but I hated Rob Zombie’s remake of Halloween. In my opinion the original is just about the perfect horror movie and there was no reason whatsoever for it to be remade. I was hoping that the relative failure of his first attempt would mean that a follow-up would not come about, but unfortunately he was given the go ahead.
Maybe as it drifts further away from the original story it will be better, ‘cos I’m having a hard time believing it could be any worse than his first attempt.
